Everything You Need to Know

It looks like in 2023 I will be celebrating my birthday on a Yoga Retreat that I will be leading with my dear friend, Avital Sabag, a culinary and Zen master. When Avital offered me these dates in April, I hesitated for a moment, but then I thought it could be actually a wonderful idea to be with all of you on my Birth Day.

This will be a very special retreat: imagine a weekend of the yogic movement, meditation, restoration, and delicious vegan food prepared with love and devotion. Fully immerse yourself in the gifts of nature and yoga while you learn how to bring the practical gifts of this practice, healthy cooking, and nature into all aspects of your life.

The practices of Yoga and mindfulness provide us with a practical set of tools that take us back to the present moment, remembering to live fully in harmony with ourselves and others.

Shaharut offers the perfect environment to explore these practices and brings together a beautiful balance of Yoga, Culinary, and Nature. On this weekend's Yoga & Culinary retreat, we will not only explore these practices, but we will also cook delicious and healthy food and learn how to recreate a balanced regime.

Going on a retreat offers us the time and space to go deeper into our practice and ourselves. This is the time we give ourselves not only for self-care but to do self-study, to explore where we are blocked, and to dive into the unknown.

When we are on a retreat, we have time and space to explore the patterns of behavior that have been repeating themselves in our lives. To look at the ways we can change our behaviors to live more fully and experience more deeply. Ultimately this is a practice that takes us back out into the world, to deepen our relationships and connections to our communities.
