The more I live, the more I question myself ‘’What is Yoga for me?’’
In the beginning, it meant mainly following my daily asana/pranayama practice for my physical health. Meditation was super hard and felt like a burden. Gradually, I noticed how my yoga practice, if done regularly, can penetrate deeper into my subconsciousness, even without me asking for it :-)
Lately, I am contemplating more and more about the imprint my self-practice leaves in my nervous system once I am done. How my life looks like when I step off my yoga mat? Am I living my yoga?
There is a beautiful saying I love: ‘’ If you want to see how you progress in your yoga practice, look at your life’’.
Or you can say: ‘’ Go live with your parents or your parents-in-law for one week to check your yoga state of mind(:’’ The same idea, to my opinion. Don’t you think?
Last week I celebrated another circle around the globe. This year, it feels like a rebirth from which I am welcoming new dawn, filled with aspirations and a fresh perspective that let dreams come true, for my loved ones and myself and for my beloved community of yoga students and teachers.
I am so looking forward to seeing many of you this coming June for our two special workshops I have been preparing for you for some time.
