Moving towards a new thing


Since I remember, I love learning. It could be a hobby, a new language, living in a new place, or acquiring a new career.

To me, new habits spice up life.

Recently, without a special intention, I started to practice ice bath exposures. It all began about a month ago during our mutual workshop with Ghenia in Israel and slowly it became a thing I am giving it a try and I admit, I kind of love it, especially the post effect (:

I am now in a stage where I think I am ready to do it on my own, in the privacy of my bath tab. There is something very powerful & exhilarating post-cold water exposure and there are obviously many benefits you can enjoy from like:

  • Improves blood circulation

  • Reduces inflammation

  • Leads to weight loss

  • Lessens muscle aches

  • Reduces stress

  • Boosts the immune system

  • Prevents (and improves) mental health conditions such as depression

  • Nourishes skin and hair

  • Enhances fertility

  • One of the best benefits of cold water therapy: Improves lymphatic movement

  • Cold exposure helps to improve sleep

  • Cold immersion improves the psyche

Remind your younger self today: ''You are safe, you are loved, you are enough"

I call it, moving towards something you wish for yourself. It could be an exercise, learning to play a musical instrument, moving in together with someone, or starting small habits in your daily routine.


The main thing to remember is that you are moving towards it, step by step, day by day. No judgments, no slogans like ‘’no pain, no gain’’, just small victories like stepping on your yoga mat every day for 20 min or drinking less coffee (:


Whatever it is, make it your silent change for the new year.
