WHY

Updated: Feb 15

What is your why?

What makes you jump out of bed every morning?

What makes your heart sparkle on rainy cold days?

Is there any WHY for you?

As part of my professional exploration, I decided to sit down and write my ‘Why’. The purpose of this exercise, created by Simon Sinek, is to create more clarity for why I do what I do in life.

Would I do it even if I am not getting paid for it? Would I do it when I am retired?

Our WHY drives us. It is the reason why we are here, but many times we don’t know or don’t understand our WHYs.

Simon Sinek suggests that one of the things to help you find out your WHY is to ask 3 very close people to you (not your family members or spouses) to give you one good reason why they are friends with you. It will take them a while to get to the real thing, but it is when they tell you how they feel when they are around will help you to build your WHY.

I just asked my two best friends, and I am waiting to hear what they say (:

For me, my strong WHY is to inspire people to find their purpose, sparkle, & live bigger lives. To help others to live with no physical pain and to know how to deal with emotional pain.

This is why I am still so passionate about Yoga practice, especially the meditation part of it, Ayurveda science, and motivational tools to help others do the inside job. This is what makes me jump out of my bed on cold & dark mornings.

I have always taught yoga by sharing my own life experiences. Maybe at first, it was more by the book, but it is no longer like that. I love sharing with you what inspires my heart & soul. I will follow this path without a doubt as long as it serves my needs and propels my dreams. My WHY is my belief in authentic relationships and I am not compromising anymore!

Please share with me your WHY and if you know me personally please share with me why you came to study with me or why we are friends and how our relationships make you feel. It will help me so much to make my WHY even stronger.

Here are ways to connect:

I hope to see you at least in one of them (:
