The Many Shades of Courage

Solo parenting three kids for 24 days in Sri Lanka—Waiza!!
Nothing that happened this August was on my agenda, except the destination, known ahead, Sri Lanka.
It was glorious, euphoric, and super hard at the same time. It was the most raw, human, messy, real stuff I experienced.
This journey changed me, changed us. It was a gift I didn’t ask for, but I received it with an open heart, and I am so glad life knows things I don’t.
For all four of us, it was learning patience, courage, and the truth that we are stronger than we think. We found new shades to our courage, individually and as a family. For this, I am so grateful—this couldn’t be found any other way. Now I know we are unstoppable, and everything is possible.
Maybe one day we’ll see the full purpose of this trip. I am even thinking of writing a book about it—about how we can find our inner unshakable willpower and become unstoppable manifesters.
Maybe it was to remind us not to take for granted the moments of peace between the storms. Maybe the lessons we needed could only come this way. And do you want to know the conclusion I reached after 24 days of solo parenting while traveling in Sri Lanka?
That alone time is medicine. It’s not optional, and not something we can give ourselves only once a year. What kept me going during this month was one hour a day just for myself—no exceptions.
Most of us are running on empty. Family, work, and constant noise from the outside world pull us in every direction, and we forget the most essential thing: ourselves.
We need to tune our inner frequency to rest, love, kindness, and quiet.
My daily yoga keeps me grounded, but it’s the longer spaces that allow us to shed roles, expectations, and pressure—to remember that we are enough, we are loved, and we deserve to simply be.
That’s why we need blank space in our lives—days without appointments or responsibilities. A time where someone else holds space for you, so you can rest, refill, and reconnect.
This January 21–27, I invite you to create that space with me in Zanzibar.
Picture yourself barefoot on white sand, swimming in turquoise waters, eating delicious local food, and reconnecting with your inner authentic power.
You’ll enjoy daily yoga, guided restorative and hypnotherapy sessions, and one-on-one time with me—all designed to restore your body and soul.
