Never say I can't do it

This last Sunday we returned home from our trip to Bulgaria. A Ski Resort invited me to teach Yoga to their guests so we combined our Christmas holidays with business (:

Alon, my husband, thought it would be a great experience to drive from Greece to Bulgaria and I am not sure how it happened, but I agreed(:

Let me be honest, driving for 11 hours with 3 kids is not an easy or fun task. On our way there we got a flat tire and couldn’t fix it for 2 hours (I will spare you the details), and on the way back we were so exhausted that we thought it would never end.

But I’m proud of us. We managed. Not only did we make it, but we learned that we can do it and our kids can do it. This journey helped us realize how brave, united, and fun we can be. This was a great lesson for adaptation and growth.

This unforgettable trip reminded me of a quote I like:

‘’Never say I can't do it
Say; I haven't done it yet’’

Because it is true.

I never thought I would buy a yoga studio, but eventually, I did and ran it for 6 years back in Tel Aviv.

I never thought I could find a job and friends when I lived in Toronto but I did.

My Mom never thought she would fight cancer and would beat it for 8 years (against all chances) but she did!

I never thought I would survive an 11-hour drive with kids but I did and I am so proud of this experience!!

We can do everything our minds are set up for. Yes, we need faith, but mostly consistency and to do that thing that scares us the most. Courage is being afraid and doing it anyway.

Now we are home, restoring from our tiring journey (it takes a few days for the nervous system to rebalance) while dealing with piles over piles of dirty laundry (it takes weeks to finish it all .LOL)
